WE’RE ALMOST READY FOR A BRAND NEW ACADEMIC YEAR 🍽️
A new academic year is upon us with new and old students starting next week and we cannot wait to welcome you back at Colliery 19🎉👩‍🍳
The format is the same, seasonal menus with plenty of choices for you to enjoy.

Our first dinner service will be on Monday the 21st of September and our brand new bistro style menu lunches will start on Thursday the 1st of October.
As usual, we are going to use Messenger for our booking.
Come and support our learners bu giving them some real life working experience.
Lunch bookings 12pm to 1pm
Dinner bookings 5.30pm to 6.30pm

🌟 OVER £1,500 RAISED FOR OUR CATERING SUPERSTARS!
🌟Last night was absolutely fabulous! The rain stayed away, the BBQs worked overtime, the music was incredible, and the atmosphere was electric.

🍔🎶Together, we raised almost £1,500 for the Coleg y Cymoedd Catering Competition Team!These vital funds directly support our talented learners across all four Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) campuses with travel, accommodation, and specialist equipment. Without this support, entering these life-changing competitions simply wouldn't be possible.
Your generosity helps our students realize exactly how good they are—and their track record this year proves they are truly world-class!

🌎 World Junior Chef Finals: Four learners selected as commis chefs, helping secure World Silver and Bronze medals!

Thank you, our last service for this academic year is now fully booked, see you all at our festival the 10th of June

This week we have been busy prepping some meats ready for the food festival. Beef Briskets and Pork Ribs, wet cured for 5 days, hot smoked for 5 hours, steamed until tender and then dry rubbed or brushed with our secret marinade. All then vacuum packed and frozen so those flavours can develop ready for the hot coals…. To taste these amazing meats and much more get your ticket booked for the 10th June.
