❤️ OUR GEORGIA ❤️

Today is such a bittersweet day for all of us at The Plough, because today we say “see you soon” to our beautiful Georgia as she heads off to university. 🥹🎓

We are genuinely so sad to see her go, but at the same time, our hearts are bursting with pride and excitement for everything that is ahead of her. ❤️

Georgia has been part of our little Plough family since the very beginning, from the day we first opened our doors last November. She has been there through it all, and over that time she has become so much more than a member of staff to us.

She is family. ❤️

Georgia is honestly one of the sweetest, kindest and most caring people you could ever meet. She has so much love to give, she absolutely adores children, she cares deeply about everyone around her, and she has this lovely way of making people feel comfortable and welcome.

She loves our customers, she loves the team, and she loves being part of The Plough — and that means more to us than she probably realises.

This is what we have always wanted The Plough to be about.

Customers are never just customers to us. You become friends. You become familiar faces we look forward to seeing. You become people we laugh with, chat with, check in on and genuinely care about. And Georgia has always understood that perfectly. ❤️

There have been so many laughs, so many memories and so many little moments that have made her such a huge part of this place, and it is going to feel very strange not having her here all the time.

But Georgia, this is your time now. 🥹❤️

Go and enjoy every single second of university. Make memories, meet amazing people, have fun, work hard, laugh loads, and make the most of this incredible new chapter.

We could not be prouder of you.

And thankfully, we don’t even have to pretend this is a proper goodbye because she has ALREADY offered to come back and work over Christmas when she is home from uni. 😂❤️

Once a Plough girl, always a Plough girl!

Georgia, thank you for being part of our journey from day one. Thank you for caring so much, for loving our customers, for being there for the team and for bringing so much warmth into our little family pub.

We love you so much and we are going to miss you more than you know.

This isn’t goodbye…

❤️✨ WHAT A BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND! ✨❤️

A huge thank you to every single person who joined us over the Bank Holiday weekend — what an incredible few days it has been! 🥂🍻

From a brilliant atmosphere to fantastic live music, plenty of laughs and so many familiar faces, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. We even ended up dancing along with everyone ourselves — which probably says everything about how much fun we had! 😂💃🏼🕺🏼

A special thank you to all of our amazing performers for keeping the party going, and an even bigger thank you to our wonderful staff. You work incredibly hard, always give everything you’ve got, and we’re so lucky to have each and every one of you as part of this amazing family. We truly couldn’t do any of it without you. ❤️👏🏼

And most importantly, thank you to all of YOU for continuing to support us. Every visit, drink, meal, share, recommendation and kind word really does mean more than you know.

Seeing everyone singing, dancing, laughing and enjoying themselves together is exactly what it’s all about. ❤️

Our kitchen is open from 12 PM, serving our delicious homemade roast dinners all day, alongside our full main menu. 🍽️

🎶✨ BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY AT THE PLOUGH ✨🎶

We’re making a full day of it this Bank Holiday Sunday with live music, great food and plenty for the little ones — from breakfast right through to the evening. 🥂

Start your day with us for breakfast from 9–11 AM, followed by our Sunday roast dinners and main menu served 12–9 PM. 🍽️

Then settle in for an incredible afternoon and evening of live music:

🎤 2 PM — Maisie
🎤 4 PM — Coco
🎷 6 PM — Ian Sax
🎸 8:30 PM — CTRL + Band

And for the little ones, we’ll have a kids’ face painter, plus an assault course & bouncy castle to keep them entertained.* 🎨🏰

🎉🍻 HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRISTIAN! 🍻🎉

A very big Happy Birthday to the boss man himself, Cristian! ❤️

We thought we’d take over The Plough page for this one, because today’s post is coming from his family. ❤️

If you’re a regular at The Plough, you’ll know Cristian well — although actually catching him standing still for more than five minutes is another story! 😂

He’s forever rushing in and out of the pub, disappearing to pick something up, coming back with ten more jobs to do, sorting this, fixing that and generally making sure everything gets done! 🤣

And here’s a little secret some of you might not know… 👀 When nobody can find him, there’s a good chance he’s disappeared into the kitchen helping out! 😂🍕

He secretly loves getting stuck in, and when it comes to pizzas, there’s no competition… Cristian is THE PIZZA MASTER! 🍕👨‍🍳 Although we’re sure he’ll happily tell you that himself! 😂

No matter how busy he is, there’s always time for a laugh and a bit of banter ❤️

We see first-hand just how much hard work and effort he puts into everything he does, and we’re so proud of him. He might drive us mad sometimes with the constant rushing around 😂 but we wouldn’t have him any other way.

The Plough wouldn’t be the same without his craziness, hard work and the laughs he brings with him every single day. ❤️

So come down and help us celebrate him properly! Raise a glass with Cristian… or 2, or 3, or 4! 🍻😂 It is his birthday after all!

Here’s to another year of Cristian running around like a headless chicken, making pizzas and somehow getting everything done! 🤣🍕

When Freckleton FC play on a Friday… and the manager has a couple of beers while watching the football on a Saturday afternoon… things tend to get a little creative. 😂

So naturally, we play a little game called…

ANYTHING BUT A PINT GLASS. 🤣🍺

The rules are simple: have your beer… just absolutely NOT out of a pint glass. 😂

And as you can see, the manager fully understood the assignment. 👏🏼🤣

Big thanks to Hursty for taking the challenge so well and being such a good sport! 😂👏🏼

We love a good laugh here at The Plough — football, a few Saturday beers and some questionable drinking choices… what could possibly go wrong? 😂⚽️🍻
