🏆 IT'S COMING HOME! 🏆

With history hopefully in the making, we thought the team at The Pilchards would like to watch the match too! It's an England game like no other, and we're all behind the Three Lions. 🦁⚽

With that in mind, we'll be serving food as normal throughout the day tomorrow, with the kitchen closing at 6:30pm so our team can enjoy the semi-final. The bar will close shortly afterwards.

Thank you for your understanding, and come on England... It's coming home! 🤞⚽🍻

☀️🥵 It’s a bit warm out there… and even warmer in the kitchen! 🥵☀️

We’re sure we don’t need to tell anyone that Cornwall is having a proper heatwave at the moment!

While many of us are enjoying the sunshine with a cold drink under the parasols, our kitchen team are working away in temperatures that make the outdoors feel positively chilly. Our bar and floor staff are also doing their best to keep everyone fed, watered, and smiling despite the heat.

So if service is a little slower than usual, or someone looks like they’ve just completed a marathon, please bear with us. A little patience, kindness, and respect towards the team is always appreciated – especially on days like these.

If you’re joining us, grab a shady spot outside, cool off inside the pub, and most importantly, keep hydrated. Whether it’s an ice-cold pint, a soft drink, or a glass of water, we’ve got you covered.

A huge thank you to our hardworking team and to all our wonderful customers for helping keep the atmosphere friendly and relaxed.
