We’re now closed for Polperro Festival ☀️🎶

One of the reasons we moved here was to actually enjoy village life, not just work through it 🌊 🏄‍♀️

We’ll be back open on Monday 23rd June ☕️

In the meantime we’ll be soaking up the festival atmosphere, eating too much and probably forgetting what day it is 💃🏼🕺🏼

Not exactly tropical out there this morning 🌦️

But there is something quite lovely about Polperro when the rain comes in. The streets get quieter, the harbour moodier and suddenly a hot coffee feels even more justified ☕️

Besides, if Cornwall waited for perfect weather, we’d never get to enjoy a good pasty 🥟😊

We’re not saying a cold Hawkstone and an absolutely massive sausage roll fixes everything…

…but it certainly improves most afternoons 🍺

We’re stocked up ready for the new series of Clarkson’s Farm and honestly these have been going down very nicely already.

Hawkstone lager, IPA, cider and Hedgerow all available here in Polperro 😊

Sweet, earthy, ice cold, slightly addictive, basically everything you want after a hot walk around Polperro 🥵

The ube cold foam latte is especially giving “holiday mode activated” energy 😌☕✨

The sunshine’s out in Polperro, and that can only mean one thing… it’s Eiskaffee season again! ☀️

If you haven’t tried it yet, our traditional German Eiskaffee is made for warm days - smooth coffee, creamy vanilla ice cream, and a little indulgence that somehow feels even better when the sun’s out in Cornwall 🍦

We’re lucky to welcome plenty of German visitors here in Polperro, and it’s always lovely seeing that little spark of nostalgia when they spot it on the menu 🇩🇪☕
And just as often, it becomes a new favourite for our British customers too, especially on those lazy, sunny afternoons by the harbour 🌊🚤

If the forecast holds (and it looks like it will 😄), this is the perfect week to swing by, and try something a bit different 😋
