📣 OYE OYE OYE!
It’s that glorious moment of the week again…

🔥 THURSDAY NIGHT QUIZ NIGHT DOWN AT THE OLD BOOTE! 🔥

Seannie’s sharpening his pencils, Tony’s polishing his glamour, and Paul’s practising his “I definitely knew that one” face.

🕣 Fun kicks off at 8.30 sharp — not “8.30‑ish”, not “whenever you wander in”, but proper sharp.

Bring your brains, your banter, and your best singing voice for the inevitable end‑of‑night warbling.

See you all then for the usual chaos, cackling, and questionable trivia confidence.

Tomorrow, 24th June, marks TWO YEARS since me and Tony took hold of the reins at Ye Olde Boote Inn, Whittington… and what a gallop it’s been.

We’ve had belly laughs, a few tears, the odd “what on earth are we doing?” moment, and more memories than we can count. But through every twist and turn, we’ve never stopped loving this wonderful old pub.

We’re incredibly proud of what the Boote has become — but even prouder of the amazing team who show up every single day and deliver cracking food, brilliant service and top‑notch presentation like absolute pros. You lot are the heartbeat of this place.

And to the good folk of Whittington… thank you. Truly. Your support, kindness, patience, encouragement, and willingness to join us on this mad adventure have meant the world. You’ve welcomed us, backed us, and kept us going — pint after pint, smile after smile.

Here are a few photos from the journey so far — the graft, the glow‑ups, the chaos, the celebrations, and all the magic in between.

Here’s to Year Three… and to many more laughs, memories and shared moments at the Boote.

👋 We’re back!

Not exactly the fresh start I had planned for 2026, but after our old account was compromised, we’re officially back and starting from scratch.

So while we’re rebuilding, I thought I’d properly introduce us…

We’re lucky enough to have over 80 pubs across the UK. Some are sports bars packed out on matchdays, some are community locals where everybody knows everybody, and some are food pubs serving up some seriously good grub.

But whilst every pub is completely different, my favourite thing about them all is the people behind them.

Every pub has its own personality. Some are football-mad, some are all about food, some are at the heart of their local community, but every single one has a story worth telling.

Over the next few months, I’ll be taking you behind the scenes of our pubs, introducing you to some brilliant managers, sharing community stories, showing off the amazing things happening across the group and probably causing the occasional bit of social media chaos along the way.

You can expect:
🍻 Pub life
🏡 Community stories
đź’Ľ Career opportunities
📱 Behind-the-scenes moments
✨ A few laughs (and maybe a few hospitality secrets)

If that sounds like your sort of thing, we’d love a follow while we rebuild our community on here.

And if you’re feeling extra generous, give this post a share. It would mean the world to us.

Welcome back to Inglenook Group.

Pull up a chair, grab a drink and stay a while. 🍻

Give Dad the treat he’s earned — a cracking Father’s Day at The Boot. 🍻
Join us for an afternoon built around proper pub comfort, hearty flavours, and the kind of service that makes you feel instantly at home. From beautifully cooked dishes to perfectly poured pints, we’re here to make sure Dad feels celebrated from the moment he walks through the door.

Whether you’re planning a relaxed family lunch or a full afternoon of food, drink, and good company, our team will look after everything. All you need to do is sit back, enjoy the atmosphere, and let us make Dad’s day special.

Father’s Day tables are already being snapped up — book now to secure your spot and give Dad the celebration he deserves.
We can’t wait to welcome you… if not before.
