Very happy to see that the recent price increase hasn't put customers off, in fact we have had the best few weeks- hope that continues and Reform led council dont go ahead with proposed parking charges for park users and cafe users too.
Maybe media news in the BBC East, Radio Northampton and the Chronicle &Echo has helped, in fact I've had cards and letters from people I dont even know.....and offers coming over the phone 😀

We have 30+ giant sunflowers to plant outside of the cafe this Saturday at 3pm. Can we get 30 kids to plant "their" sunflower where they will have to water and care for....and can get a free ice- cream for helping the park to be beautiful 😍 🤩 👌

Devastated to learn that Reform led WNC have proposed parking charges for our parks in West Hunsbury. This could mean cafe customers will have an extra £2 or more every time if they were to arrive by car.

Already parking charges are at other country parks so why not Hunsbury?
Well the parks are the only leisure facility we have and will surely put some people off if you have to pay.

If this goes ahead then it will hit the Drovers hard and I would expect trade to fall, plans to oppose the parking charges are in place and you can get details on how to object from inside the cafe.

New menu coming soon, one or three new prices as wages and costs keep rising and rising. Have to be competitive......and pay the bills 😀
