🎄📚 A CHRISTMAS STORYBOOK LAUNCH AT JEYES! 📚🎄

Looking for a lovely family day out this half term? Come and join us at Jeyes!

This Friday 30th October, we’re delighted to welcome local teacher and talented performer Amanda Ribano for the official launch of her wonderful children’s Christmas story, “No One Likes Brussel Sprouts”

Amanda will be bringing her festive tale to life with live readings, singing the song and signing copies — a magical experience for little ones aged 3–8 years!

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the story and make some lovely family memories!

🍂 We’re loving the autumn vibes at Jeyes! 🧡

Our seasonal menu is proving a real favourite, with delicious homemade dishes from our cook Mandy, including Spicy Pumpkin Soup and Autumnal BBQ Pulled Pork Nachos. And our baker Lynn arrives daily with beautiful cakes packed with the flavours of the season!

We were delighted to welcome .b and , the next generation of the Jeyes family, for a week of Year 10 work experience!

April spent her week at Earls Barton Pharmacy , following in the footsteps of her grandpa, David Jeyes, who served as the village chemist for 37 years. From meeting customers to helping with day-to-day tasks, she gained an insight into life behind the scenes of a busy village pharmacy.

Georgia, the keen footballer of the family, enjoyed an action-packed week with Elite Football Coaching | Northampton & Milton Keynes, combining time on the pitch with lesson planning, as well as completing her coaching course in the New Moon Cabin at Jeyes.

And, of course, no week at Jeyes would be complete without a family lunch from The Apothcoffee Shop to keep everyone fuelled!

Both girls had a fantastic week, and we loved being part of their work experience journey.

At Jeyes of Earls Barton, we’re proud to work closely with local schools to welcome Year 10 pupils, alongside hospitality and tourism students from our brilliant local colleges throughout the year.

Helping the next generation discover their interests, develop new skills and take their first steps into the world of work is something we’re incredibly proud to support.

We’re delighted that Jeyes of Earls Barton is an official attraction in the Stay Play Explore scheme — and, of course, we had to try it for ourselves!

Designed for families looking for an action-packed break or couples wanting a relaxing getaway, Stay, Play, Explore brings together welcoming hotels and brilliant attractions in great-value packages, including accommodation, breakfast and attraction tickets.

With breaks available across the Heart of England, including Northamptonshire and our neighbouring counties, it’s a wonderful way to explore somewhere new without travelling too far from home.

So, Pip and her family packed their bags and set off on a few days of adventure, crossing county borders to make the most of their break!

Their itinerary included a two-night stay at , complete with swimming and cooked breakfasts, football fun at Soccer Shack Ltd in Northamptonshire, a trip to Coventry Transport Museum and a day exploring Twycross Zoo in Leicestershire. Phew! That’s quite a lot of playing and exploring!

Pip said:

“The value for money this package offers is incredible. From just £169 for a family of four, including a two-night stay and entry to three attractions, it’s unreal and worth every penny.”

And the best bit? Jeyes features in both the family and couples’ offers!

A huge thank you to Kate Dent from Northants Tourism Business Network for introducing us to the scheme. We’ve already welcomed so many new faces through our doors, and it’s lovely to see visitors discovering everything our county has to offer.

Glitz, glamour and a celebration of Northamptonshire’s finest at the Weetabix Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards WNFAD

Always a highlight of our year, last night was one of the best yet. Pip and Anna began the evening at the Mercure Hotel Northampton Mercure pre-drinks social before heading to the Royal & Derngate, which looked spectacular in glitter and glamour for its James Bond theme.

Georgina and David beamed all night as special guests of Stewart from Nuovo, while Pip and Anna joined Adam, Ben and the team as guests of Booker—a wonderful evening for both generations of the Jeyes family.

It was especially moving to hear John Panayis recognised for his many years of passion and dedication. Best known to us from his time at Sophia’s Restaurant, John was at the helm of so many of our family’s milestone celebrations so to be invited to enjoy the evening with his son, Nick and son-in-law Stewart made the evening even more special.

Last night was a wonderful reminder of the wealth of outstanding food and drink venues across Northamptonshire—past and present—and of the exciting young talent and exceptional local produce coming through. Our county has so much to celebrate and every reason to be recognised as a thriving food and drink hub.

Two hats. One county. One big ambition.

Last week, Pip and Anna Jeyes attended the Discover Northamptonshire Tourism Conference, wearing two hats with one shared ambition: to help Northamptonshire get the recognition it deserves.

HAT ONE: JEYES OF EARLS BARTON

Pip joined the panel for Destination Northamptonshire: The Opportunity, sharing thoughts on our county’s potential, the realities of running a family business and why staying innovative and working together matters.

We’re independent in spirit, passionate about what we do and proud to play our part in sharing Northamptonshire’s story.

HAT TWO: Northamptonshire On the Map

As co-founders of this community-led, volunteer-powered campaign to secure an official brown tourism sign on the M1, we were there to spread the word, make connections and build support.

Anna spent the day talking to businesses about sponsorship for our fundraising event on 11 March 2027.

A perfect few hours out celebrating Mum’s birthday and visiting one of the award-winning pubs our wonderful county has to offer.

We’re so lucky to have The Tollemache Arms The Tolly right on our doorstep — great atmosphere, such a friendly team and absolutely delicious food.

What a fabulous evening in Northampton! 🎉

St. Giles Street looked beautiful in the evening sunshine as we headed to V&B Bar for the Northants Life After Party. It was a brilliant chance to celebrate with fellow finalists, winners and sponsors, enjoy live music from Kelly Jane - Singer-Songwriter & Guitarist, and catch up with everyone from the awards.

It was lovely to relive the awards evening together. Pip shared the moment she realised Dave was talking about Jeyes of Earls Barton, and how incredible it felt to receive the first-ever Northants Life Special Recognition Award.

After a delicious cheeseboard, we rounded off the night at Noir , Clare Douglas stylish new venue in the heart of town.
