Half term is always a bit hit or miss for us. Sometimes it’s absolutely mental, other times it’s a little quieter! Make us busy, come spend your money with us, in return for delicious food & drink!

We’re open until 3pm today, with the kitchen closing at 2.30pm. If you’re about, pop down and support us. If you’re sat there thinking, “Should we pop out for a coffee or some lunch?” DO IT! And that goes for any independent business, not only us.

I feel like we’ve been saying “support independent” for years, but it’s becoming more important than ever.

We love what we do, but keeping independent businesses going isn’t getting any easier. Every coffee, every breakfast and every slice of cake makes a difference, and we appreciate every penny you choose to spend with us.

Anyway, I’ll shut up now before I start moaning about the price of eggs… You know where we are. We’d love to see you today!

And if you can’t make it to us, go and support another local independent. It means more than you probably realise ❤️

I know I’ve said it already and we’re not even in October yet, but things are getting BUSY 🍂

Autumn Afternoon Tea bookings are filling up, our Christmas Afternoon Tea dates are coming soon, the new Christmas Takeaway Boxes are nearly ready to launch, and we’re getting baby shower enquiries daily, what a time to be alive eh!… All while running a coffee shop day to day as well, we still got that bit under control, don't worry!

If you’re planning any bookings with us between now and Christmas, get in touch sooner rather than later. The diary is filling up quickly for the m̶o̶s̶t̶ ̶m̶a̶g̶i̶c̶a̶l̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶…̶ time of the year where we unapologetically get fat and eat an unreasonable amount of pancakes and cakes… 🥞🍰

🍂 Autumn Afternoon Tea is filling up fast!

Autumn is always one of our busiest times of the year as we head towards Christmas, and we’re already seeing our Afternoon Tea slots filling up. And since we’re talking about Christmas… 👀

Our Christmas Afternoon Tea slots will be released at the beginning of October, and this year we’re making it extra special. You are NOT going to want to miss this one! 🎅🏼✨

We’ll also be launching our Christmas Takeaway Afternoon Tea Boxes at the same time - these boxes are perfect for Christmas Eve gift boxes 🎁🍰

Everything will go live at the beginning of October, so keep your eyes on our socials for the announcement. I know it’s only September, but it’s starting to feel a little bit Christmassy already, isn’t it? 😂 Although that might be because I’ve been thinking about Christmas specials for both shops for the past three weeks and going a bit insane.. 🎄☕️

For now, if you’re planning an Autumn Afternoon Tea, get your table booked before the diary fills up! 🍂🫖 Finally, Autumn food specials are nearly here… they’re special (as the name suggests) 👀 We’ve been working on them behind the scenes and I cannot wait to get them on the menu. Proper autumn comfort food incoming 🍂
