Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, we appreciate everyone for their kind words as well us coming in the past couple days!

It's with a heavy sadness we already need to put up such a post, however we have had someone vandalize one of our walls and tear posters down. We just ask if people have any issues with anything then please speak to us, we are still settling into the pub and making our way around to put our own stamp on things. Changing the current decor is on our list to do but not yet done so all pictures were already on the walls.

We are taking on board the comments and suggestions people are giving and all we ask for is a little bit of time to make these changes and continue giving us feedback. Due to the posters already being up from before, we can't help but feel this is slightly personal towards us and hope we can give you all faith in us.

Thank you all for reading, we hope this is the last time we need to write a post like this. 😔

🏏 WHAT A FIRST DAY! 🏏

Well, Alresford… what a way to kick things off! 🍻🥰

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came through the doors today, showed us some support, grabbed a bite to eat or stopped for a drink. It genuinely means so much to us as we settle into our new adventure at The Cricketers Inn.

We're only just getting started, and we've already got lots of little plans and exciting changes in the works! 👀🍺 You might have spotted a few new additions behind the bar already… and there's plenty more to come!

🍽️ CURIOUS ABOUT OUR NEW MENU? 👀

Keep your eyes peeled because we'll be sharing our menus TOMORROW! From pub favourites to delicious treats, we can't wait for you to see what we've got cooking. 🤤

We're looking forward to getting to know more of you, welcoming back familiar faces and meeting plenty of new ones along the way.

Didn't make it in today? Don't worry — we'd love to see you soon! Whether it's for a pint, a bite to eat, our new menu or just a good old catch-up, there's always a warm welcome waiting for you. 🍻

🍻 HELLO FROM THE NEW OWNERS OF THE CRICKETERS INN! 🍻

Well… hello! 👋

We're Laura & Dale, and we're absolutely thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new landlords of The Cricketers Inn! 🏏❤️

We're so excited to be taking on this lovely pub and becoming part of the local community. We've got lots of ideas, lots of plans and, admittedly, a slightly terrifying amount of work ahead of us 😂 — but most importantly, we're really looking forward to welcoming you through the doors.

Whether you're popping in for a quiet drink, a meal with the family, Sunday lunch, a catch-up with friends or just because you fancy a pint… we'd love to see you! 🍺🍽️

We're looking forward to meeting all our new customers, getting to know the regulars and making The Cricketers Inn a place where everyone feels welcome.

So come and say hello, grab a drink, have something to eat and let us know what you think! 🥰 This is your pub as much as it is ours, and we're here for you!

📣 THE IMPORTANT BIT! 📣

We're opening our doors TOMORROW FROM 12 NOON! 🎉🍻

Now, it seems you lovely lot have done a rather impressive job of running us dry on Saturday! 😂🍺 We've got an alcohol delivery on the way tomorrow, but it might not arrive in time for opening, so we may be a little limited on the alcoholic options to begin with.

BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU! 🥤🍽️ Come down, grab a soft drink and be among the first to try our NEW MENU! We're really excited to share what we've been working on with you, and we'd love to hear what you think. ❤️

We'll get those pints flowing as soon as our delivery arrives, so please bear with us while we get settled in!

We can't wait to welcome you all through the doors and get this new chapter started! 🏏🍻

Here's to a new chapter at The Cricketers Inn! ❤️
