Meet the Team…

Next up in our Meet the Team series is our lovely Sue! 👋

Sue joined Branching Out back in 2016 and has been a florist for nearly 25 years! 💐

She loves creating beautiful, large floral arrangements and is also pretty handy when it comes to mastering our coffee art! ☕️

We’ve also unofficially made her our Head of Tech 🤓because if something needs fixing, connecting, updating or figuring out, Sue is usually the one we turn to! 😂🙌

Basically, she’s the florist, coffee artist and tech department in one! 🥰…and we’re very lucky to have you, Sue! ☺️

Ali is here!

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning is in full swing and lovely Ali is here with us until 12 noon today! 💚

Ali is an oncology nurse and Macmillan professional specialising in cancer support, and she’s brought lots of useful information and leaflets with her.

So if you’re popping in for a coffee and cake this morning, come and say hi to Ali! 👋 She’s happy to answer any questions, have a chat and tell you a little more about the support available to people living with cancer and those caring for them.

While you’re here, grab yourself a coffee and a delicious cake and help us support Macmillan Cancer Support too ☕️🧁💚 Look at Nikki’s showstopper 😍

We’re so excited to have been nominated for Best Independent Café in the Beckenham Biscuit Readers’ Awards! 🏆

Branching Out is so much more than coffee and cake. We’re a little independent place where you can grab a coffee, meet a friend, enjoy some lunch, pick up some flowers, plants or gifts 💞

We think what makes it really special is our wonderful local community. All the familiar faces, the celebrations, the doggy visitors 🐶 and all the support you’ve given us over the years.

We’re so proud to be part of this community and so grateful that we have been nominated 🥰

If Branching Out is one of your favourite local places, we’d absolutely love your vote!

Voting is open until 11.59pm on Sunday and every vote means so much to our little independent business.

You can vote here 😘 https://postcodepress.co.uk/p/beckenham/awards/best-independent-cafe-2026

Our competition winner, Oscar came to see his fabulous design brought to life on our window and we think he looks pretty proud! 🥰

We’re so happy his colourful design has been transformed into our new window art 🌸☕️🌿
