When the birthday cake becomes the centrepiece of the entire celebration…

A little touch of Disney magic, designed entirely around Maya’s special day.
This bespoke three tier Mickey & Minnie Mouse birthday cake was created in soft blush pinks, white and pops of classic Disney red with every tier telling its own little story.
From the oversized Minnie inspired bow and personalised name, to the tiny doors, windows, hearts, rainbow and beautifully detailed Mickey & Minnie figures, this cake was designed to be discovered from every angle.
And because a luxury celebration deserves more than just one showstopper, we created a fully coordinated dessert tableto match including handcrafted themed cookies, cake pops and matching sweet treats, all bringing the same colour palette and details together.
The result? A dessert table that feels less like a collection of treats and more like part of the party styling itself.
At 4S Cakes, every celebration cake is bespoke and made to order, with the design created around your theme, colours and vision. From elaborate children’s birthday cakes to complete dessert tables, we create statement pieces for celebrations across London, Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge and beyond.

When a client tells you his wife is turning 60, loves padel tennis AND dachshunds, you know you have to come up with something special!
He wanted a really personal birthday cake for her, so we brought both of her loves together into one very special cake a little padel tennis court with the cutest sausage dogs!
One of the trickiest parts of this custom celebration cake was creating the padel court. It might look quite simple when you look at the finished cake, but there was a LOT of planning behind those colours and details.
That tiny white gap between the different sections of the court had to be measured very carefully. When you’re working with cake and edible decorations, those little details can make a huge difference to the final result.
And then came the dachshunds…
I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for when I was trying to work out how to make these little dogs, so I had to figure it out myself. And honestly, one of the things I was most worried about was their little legs! 😅
Because they are standing on the cake, I was so nervous that their legs might break while I was putting everything together.
Thankfully… they survived!
And I’m so happy with how this bespoke 60th birthday cake turned out.
This is one of those cakes that reminds me that a cake doesn’t have to look complicated to have a LOT of work, thought and planning behind it. The best custom cakes are often the ones that tell a story about the person they’re made for.
I’d love to know what you think!
Would you have guessed this was a padel tennis cake?
And most importantly… how do YOU pronounce dachshund? 😂
If you’d like a completely personalised cake designed around someone’s hobbies, passions, favourite things or a special occasion, I’d love to create something unique for you.
📩 Get in touch to discuss your bespoke cake idea
🎂 Custom cakes made with lots of thought and attention to detail
Visit www.4scakes.co.uk
