Meet our new starter: Laila Hamilton!

We're delighted to welcome Laila to Berkeley Scott as our new Apprentice Recruitment Consultant in our Leeds Temporary team.

After studying a Level 3 BTEC in Journalism and working at ASDA while at college, Laila discovered her passion for recruitment and knew an apprenticeship was the perfect next step.

When we asked Laila why she chose to join Berkeley Scott, she said:

"Berkeley Scott had a great reputation and amazing opportunities for me to reach my desired career!"

In five years, Laila hopes to have completed her apprenticeship and continued progressing within both Berkeley Scott and the recruitment industry.

Alcohol Awareness Week: Putting People First

That's why every member of our front-of-house temporary team completes the relevant licensing training, from our trusted training provider Flow by mapal, before heading out on shift. It's not just about understanding the law; it's about recognising when someone may have had too much to drink, knowing how to respond safely, and helping create a positive experience for everyone.

We’re proud to have supported the Royal Naval Association City of Salford Branch during the National Conference Weekend 2026.

Thank you to the branch for sharing a heartfelt note of thanks for our donation of 6 bottles of champagne for their gala dinner raffle.

On the night, the raffle raised an incredible £2,540.00, helping fund events and day trips that combat social isolation among members.
