We never imagined we’d be writing a post like this.

The Coffee Studio is officially defending its trademark after being challenged by one of the UK’s largest hospitality companies over three simple words:

Eat. Drink. Work.

For us, these aren’t just words. They represent everything we’ve built. A place where people come to enjoy great coffee, work, connect, and be part of a community.

As a small independent business, we could have backed down.

We chose not to.

This isn’t just about our café. It’s about every independent business that has worked tirelessly to build something meaningful and shouldn’t feel pressured into giving up its identity simply because a much larger company comes knocking.

We’re proud to be represented by Trademark Wizards, with the backing of Lord Alan Sugar, as we defend what we’ve built.

We have been named a finalist for Hospitality, Tourism & Events StartUp of the Year at the London . It feels great to see our hard work in the London scene pay off. Now we have our eyes on the national final at this September.

Ramadan Sunday opening hours 🌙

Whilst we are open as normal on Sundays, we will be reopening our doors again at 7pm on Sundays till Midnight for the month of Ramadan at Battersea.

For the month of Ramadan, our Battersea branch will be open from 9pm until late, giving you a space to unwind after Iftar with Karak Chai, coffee, tea and desserts alongside our current menu.

We’ll also be offering complimentary dates at both our Greenwich and Battersea branches for Iftar throughout the month.
