We do like to celebrate our various colleagues. Persepolis has been/is right in between the Camberwell College of Arts and the Goldsmith University and we’ve acquired all sorts of waiting persons over the years. For example… meet Laura. Laura is amazing at sketching and painting: we reckon she’ll be very famous one day… 🙂 (btw, the middle one was Escher , not Laura… yet)

Hey guys! We're walking around a wee bit more. Another 25km, so raise money for the Stroke Association. On August 22nd. Our amazing team will be marching with us. But it will be even better if one or two of you out there add a little dosh to our Just Giving fund.... Wish us luck!

So we got to go to the cinema on Saturday! This was very exciting 🙂 We got to see some amazing films… one of which was apparently all about us. Ela Gorkay and friends were displaying the end of their course at the London College of Communication. For a Taste of Persia…

Hahaha! This was just half an hour one morning. We’ve been doing this cooking stuff for about 16 years, but we are still chuffed that most of our plates go back empty to the kitchen… 👏👊🙌

Spring! If you’re Peckhamsters, then heading on to our Persepolitan restaurant roof is ace … But check out the (AMAZING) new venue in East Dulwich: Mr. S and I tried a cheeky lunch in Simorgh today and it was quite extraordinarily good…. We’ve kind of got food in South East London sussed 😉

A reminder that Persepolis really does prepare some AMAZING dishes… All vegetarian, some full on vegan. Sweeties and savouries and everything in between. We do love our restaurant and the chefs ain’t bad 😉

SIMORGH is open! Our new restaurant is shiny and ready for you all to visit. We are open from Tuesday through to Sunday and we’re at 481 Lordship Lane, SE22 8JR ….

So we are celebrating lots of stuff this year. It is our 25th Anniversary for starters. We really love our neighbours so we’ve been highlighting a few of them. The ones that have been around for a while… Below we’ve got Brenda (the Flower Shop), Lee (Wilson’s Bike) and Imtiyaz (our green grocer). Amazing, all of them 🙂
