The menu offers a variety of pasta dishes (including a regularly updated special) salads and sandwiches. The arrabiata and spaghetti al pesto are delicious and abundant. Owner Max will happily talk to you all day about English and Italian football, especially his beloved Roma. However, the cafe appears to attract a varied clientele mostly consisting of people working in and around Stamford Brook.

Overall this is a great find where for a reasonable price you can have a typical Italian lunch experience including a nice bowl of pasta, some bread and a glass of wine for less than 10 pounds.
