Txakoli Summer has officially arrived.

Hot on the heels of our summer-commencing ‘Txakoli & Txangurro’ supper, the fridges were full to bursting with the Basque Country staple refresher - blanco y rosado . So much so, we sold out of almost all of it & now require a restock

Cool off with us this summer, we’re a literal stones throw from the beach, the wine is chilled to perfection AND the air conditioning is exquisite.

An exciting day yesterday as we finalised & tasted dishes for our opening menu .house

All a bit of a tease really; the weather this weekend would be perfect for enjoying these dishes with a crisp glass of rosé or a spritz in the south-facing, sun-trap haven of a garden in Kemptown Village… but plenty of warm days ahead of us to enjoy that.

True to form, George has designed a menu around bright & fresh seasonal produce of local sourcing, with nods to bistro classics & modern sharing plates for good measure. Tweaking, tasting, developing; in Marc, Tim & Mat you couldn’t find three more qualified bon vivant(s) to pass judgement.

We are also getting very close to announcing an opening date & taking reservations, so to hear about that first, sign up to their newsletter on their website (link in their .house bio) & be sure to give them a follow.

We can’t wait to get cooking in Kemptown, see you soon!
