We have a winner 🌟

Another Great Taste award winner for 2026 to add to our line up. We’re super proud extend our winning streak by another year with this version of our Ugandan Natural from Agri Evolve UK .

We developed this roast a little further than our award winning Kyondo with you espresso drinkers in mind. A slight richer body with dark chocolate and red berry fruitiness that everyone has grown to love since we’ve been sourcing this coffee since we began back in the day.

We’ve been sample roasting some new coffees that have just landed with us. A washed Kenyan and exceptional Peruvian naturally processed Java. Keep yours eyes out for these dropping over the next few days.

The end of an era, it’s the amazing Meg’s last day with us tomorrow.

Meg walked in a few years ago in need of a job. Boy am I glad we said yes. The stress of a roastery move, a classic Christmas movie and now a great friend forever.

I know there are lots of you that have also grown to be good friends with Meg so please do pop in tomorrow if you can and give Meg a last day to remember. You may catch us with something other than coffee in our hands after lunch.

Massive thanks for everything you’ve done, helping us grow and getting us to where we are now.

Big love Meg. We’ll all miss you loads. Keep your eyes peeled for Meg smashing it in the Peak District some time soon.

Two new drops this week, both selected at our public cupping last month.

We have this exceptional Giesha competition lot a naturally processed coffee from Qima Coffee 90+ series showcasing some to for best coffees coming out of Colombia. We have a limited supply of this so be quick if you fancy a treat.

The second lot also selected by you (and us) from Qima Coffee is the cracking washed Peru Amazon’s community lot with notes of Apple, sweet orange, fudge and maple syrup. We’ve got this in the hopper here at the roastery now if you fancy a brew.
