What a way to kick off Food Festival weekend! 🍴

Last night’s Matthew Tilt & Sons dinner was something really special, and a sell out too. Thank you to everyone who joined us 💙

The Tilts are a hospitality family through and through and you could feel it all night, from the kitchen to Charlie’s drinks pairing. The slow cooked pork belly with hog’s pudding croquette was a real standout for us. Hearing Matt tell their story (and get a little emotional) made it even more special.

Roll on the Fishmongers Table, which starts today! Book your table for lunch or dinner tonight or tomorrow to enjoy it.

Two days to go 👨‍🍳

Matthew Tilt & Sons opens our Food Festival this Thursday and there are still a few seats left at the table. Here's the menu:

An amuse bouche from the kitchen and warm homemade bread with flavoured butters, then:

🥧 Red pepper marmalade & goat's cheese tart, toasted pine nuts
🐖 Slow cooked pork belly, hog's pudding croquette, charred hispi cabbage, apple, c***r & mustard jus
🫐 Whipped cheesecake, blackberry confit, toasted oat crumble, blackberry sorbet
☕ Coffee & macaron to finish

Our chef. The festival's demo stage. 🎤🔥

Our Group Head Chef Joshua Tilt will be on the Dartmouth Food Festival demo stage with our good friend Stephane DeLourme on Friday 23rd October at 1pm.

Stephane spent years as head chef at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant in Padstow and is one of the most respected seafood chefs in the South West. We've cooked alongside him at events and pop-ups for years now, so having him back with Josh feels like a reunion with an old friend. Grab a seat, watch them cook and pick up a few tricks to take home.

Here's what Matthew, Josh and Charlie are cooking for Matthew Tilt & Sons at Pontoon this Food Festival.

Our Fishmongers Table is back for Food Festival 🐟

Ethan from Greendale Farm Shop brings his full fishmonger's table to Pontoon, laid out with the day's catch. Pick your fish, watch Ethan fillet it right in front of you and it goes straight to our kitchen to be cooked fresh. It doesn't get much fresher than that.

Last Food Festival and again at Regatta, we were fully booked all weekend. Don't leave it late.
