One a mighty fortress destroyed by Cromwell's parliamentarians, the other a humble public house, still doing today what it has done for hundreds of years. Flagstones, bare stone walls, exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces are still prominent features. We offer several menus, with special meals for children. Our emphasis is on value and quality. rth, in the summer you can enjoy the large beer garden overlooking the steam railway (www.swanagerailway.co.uk) or the floral terrace under the shade of the grapevines. Everyone is welcome at the Castle Inn, it`s not unusual to see three or four generations eating or drinking together. We are a family run establishment and are passionate about what we do, the customer really is King at the Castle Inn.
