Cockburnspath Community Cafe

Cockburnspath Community Cafe Cockburnspath Communty Cafe is held in the Village Hall every Tuesday from 11am until 1.30pm and is run by a group of volunteers.

We offer two freshly made soups, filled rolls, baked potatoes, cakes, scones alongside the odd Special.

Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Cafe yesterday in the Village Hall. It was lovely to see so many people using the cafe and enjoying the community spirit that it invokes. Just a wee reminder that the cafe is open all weekend alongside a free exhibition highlighting the 300 year anniversary of James Hutton the famous geologist who discovered Siccar Point. Please be aware that the school car park and part of the playing fields will be available for over flow parking should it be necessary.

It’s Cafe day again tomorrow ( Tuesday 26th May ) and the soup this week is Roasted Red Pepper, Tomato, Red Onion and Garlic. I hope you like it. We Will be open from 11-2pm tomorrow with last food orders at 1.30pm. We will also have filled rolls, cake, scones, hot and cold drinks etc. We would love to see you there. x

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Cafe today. It was the first time we had toasties for a while and we We’re limited with the Grill we had. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding. Minestrone Soup went down well so we will do that again. See you next week on Tuesday 26th May from 11.2pm.

It’s cafe day today in Cockburnspath Village Hall from 11 to 2pm. Hot food from 11.15 to 1.30pm. Today we have two soups which are Leek & Potato an Roasted Root Veg. We also have Bacon Rolls, Sausage Rolls, both with an egg if requested. As always we have amazing baking, freshly made Cake and Apple & Cinnamon Scones. Hope to see you there. The soups in the Coomumity Cafe on Tuesday 12th May are Lee & Potato and Roasted Root Vegetable. Hope to see you there from 11. Hot food will now be available a wee bit earlier from 11.15 as our numbers have increased and we don’t want anyone to miss out. See you on Tuesday ❤️

We are very lucky to have our amazing weekly Community Cafe in Cockburnspath Village Hall, and today it will be open from 11-2pm. Hot food served from 11.30-1.30pm.

Todays‘ Special is ‘ Bacon Rolls ‘ hot or cold, with a fried egg if requested. Soups are Lemtil & Bacon and Tomato. Cake is Apple Cake and Cheeses Scones freshly made this morning.

A huge shout out to everyone who came along to the Community Cafe today in the Village Hall. It was lovely to see everyone. We had 40 customers today, which is the most we have had since the beginning of November. It must have been the ‘ Bacon Rolls ‘.
We ran out of everything apart from a couple of portions of egg mayonnaise and tuna mayonnaise. It was a good job I made two soups. Thanks also to our amazing volunteers who had today’s shift running like clockwork ❤️
