Cockburnspath Community Cafe Cockburnspath Communty Cafe is held in the Village Hall every Tuesday from 11am until 1.30pm and is run by a group of volunteers.

We offer two freshly made soups, filled rolls, baked potatoes, cakes, scones alongside the odd Special.

Today we have the ever popular Jacket Potatoes, Filled Rolls, Cake, Scones and Hot & Cold drinks. The Soup is homemade Tomato. So - as it’s Summer I will be serving Meringues and a Berry Coulis as a lovely summer pudding at the Community Cafe on Tuesday 7th July. The Cafe is open to EVERYONE from 11-2pm with last food orders at 1.30pm. We will also have Filled Rolls, fresh homemade Soup, Empire biscuits and Cheese Scones.

BREAKING NEWS! Bacon Rolls are BACK in the Community Cafe next week by request. Fresh Soup, filled rolls, cakes and scones will also be on the Menu. Not decided what soup to make yet but it will probably be Tomato 🍅. Hope to see you there on Tuesday 30th June from 11-2pm. Last food orders at 1.30pm.

By popular demand, Jacket Potatoes and Marmalade Cake are back on the menu at the Community Cafe on Tuesday 9th June. We are open from 11-2pm with hot food available from 11.30 to 1.30pm ( we are always flexible if we have anything left 😂 ). Also on offer is Scotch Broth, filled rolls, and cheese scones. Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Cafe yesterday in the Village Hall. It was lovely to see so many people using the cafe and enjoying the community spirit that it invokes. Just a wee reminder that the cafe is open all weekend alongside a free exhibition highlighting the 300 year anniversary of James Hutton the famous geologist who discovered Siccar Point. Please be aware that the school car park and part of the playing fields will be available for over flow parking should it be necessary.

It’s Cafe day again tomorrow ( Tuesday 26th May ) and the soup this week is Roasted Red Pepper, Tomato, Red Onion and Garlic. I hope you like it. We Will be open from 11-2pm tomorrow with last food orders at 1.30pm. We will also have filled rolls, cake, scones, hot and cold drinks etc. We would love to see you there. x

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Cafe today. It was the first time we had toasties for a while and we We’re limited with the Grill we had. Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding. Minestrone Soup went down well so we will do that again. See you next week on Tuesday 26th May from 11.2pm.
