Just 2 sleeps to go until the ultimate pub party
- this year’s completely SOLD OUT Cotley Fest!

Ahead of the big day, we thought it might be useful to share the answers to a few FAQs…

WHAT TIME DOES IT START?

The festival starts at 12 noon. Please don’t arrive before this time, as we will be unable to let you in.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY TICKET?

Yes! Everyone will need to show their ticket to gain entry. If you’ve bought tickets for your friends, please email them their QR code so they can show it on arrival.

WHERE DO WE PARK?

If you’re approaching from Chard, parking is available at the top of Cotley Lane, in one of the fields on the corner. It will be signposted, and we’ll be running a tractor shuttle service to and from the pub every 20 minutes throughout the day.

It’s only around 1km, so if you’re feeling energetic, you’re very welcome to walk!

Alternatively, there’s another designated parking field ‘below’ The Cotley if you’re approaching from Bewley Down. This is just a 2-minute walk from the pub, although the field is much smaller.

CAN WE LEAVE OUR CARS OVERNIGHT?

Yes! You’re welcome to leave your vehicles in the parking fields overnight, but please make sure they’re collected by 10:30am on Monday morning

WHAT SHALL I WEAR?

It’s a festival - so anything goes! Glitter, sequins, feathers, bright colours… the more fabulous, the better!

That said, it might be worth bringing an umbrella and waterproof coat too, just in case we get a few downpours.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

Camping chairs, picnic rugs and, most importantly, your best dancing shoes!

WHAT SHOULD I LEAVE AT HOME?

Your lovely dogs! As it’s set to be a very busy day with lots of people and loud music, it really isn’t the most enjoyable setting for our four-legged friends. So please leave them at home if you can.

AND PLEASE LEAVE YOUR OWN FOOD & DRINK AT HOME TOO!

We’ll have plenty of delicious food and drinks to keep you fed and watered throughout the day.

If you’re walking to us and planning on packing some ‘road beers’, please make sure they’ve been enjoyed before you arrive - we won’t be allowing any alcohol to be brought onto the site.

We are so excited to see you on Sunday 🎪

Last week, our Head Chef Dan swapped his kitchen apron for a fresh shirt and a visitor’s badge, heading over to beautiful Fowlescombe Farm Farm after a lovely invitation from The Staff Canteen for a networking lunch.

Dan had the chance to have a look around the gardens and restaurant, enjoy some fantastic food and, most importantly, catch up with fellow chefs and meet some new faces along the way.

Hospitality is at its best when we share ideas, swap stories and learn from one another - and we’ve always found that’s what makes this community such a good one to be part of.

A big thank you to The Staff Canteen for Dan’s invite, and to Fowlescombe Farm for hosting!

It's our last week until the Little Tin Hut closes its doors for another season of pizza on the lawn 🍕

These evenings have become such a lovely part of summer for us. After all these years, we still feel so lucky to see so many familiar faces turning up time and time again and what a summer it’s been for it. We really couldn’t have asked for better weather.

If you fancy one last summer evening with us, we’re open tomorrow and Tuesday and we’d love to see you.

Book your spot now, or simply turn up on the night and we’ll find you a a perfect little corner on the lawn.

Here’s to the final few🥂
