The annual Rossendale Round the Hills Walk, organised by Rotary Rossendale, takes place on Sunday, September 6 from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

It’s the 59th time the walk has taken place, and starts from Marl Pits Leisure Centre. There is no entry free but a donation is requested when registering.

On Saturday 26th September, we're swapping our usual coffee and cake for something even more special… 💚
We're hosting our very own Macmillan Coffee Morning, and we'd absolutely love for you to join us!
From 9am–1pm, you can enjoy:
☕ A delicious coffee
🍰 A slice of cake
💚 All for just £6 — and HALF of every £6 goes straight to Macmillan!
That's right… £3 from every coffee & cake goes directly to Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚
We'll have a table full of delicious homemade cakes, with some lovingly baked by our wonderful table & thyme team. 🥰
We'll also have a Macmillan donation pot and QR code available throughout the morning, so if you'd like to donate a little extra, every penny will help.
So grab your friends, family, neighbours or your favourite coffee morning companion and come and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of something delicious with us. ❤️

We’ve seen Gene’s Kitchen’s recent post about the struggles facing independent cafés, and it really struck a chord with us here at table & thyme.
Running a small, independent café isn’t easy right now. We know we’re all feeling the pressure, and we’re sure every local business has its own challenges behind the scenes. But one thing we truly believe in is community. ❤️
So, rather than seeing each other as competition, let’s celebrate and support one another. There is room for all of us, and we want to wish every café, coffee shop and independent business in Bacup every success. ☕️🥐❤️
