There’s something special about beef stews ❤️

When we lived in Sweden, Anders often made Boeuf Bourguignon at home. When we opened the restaurant six years ago, it made the menu and has since become an absolute favorite among our guests.

But when we moved to our new premises in January, and the Guinness stew was added to the menu. Suddenly, Boeuf Bourguignon faced some real competition. Today, both stews are incredibly popular, and it’s actually hard to say which one is loved the most.

Two quite similar stews, yet with completely different characters. ❤️

Three Scandinavian favorites on the menu!
We’ve put the finishing touches on our shrimp sandwich – and we’re thrilled to finally add it to the menu.
We now have three Scandinavian sandwiches available.

🥪 Smoked salmon with dill mayonnaise
🦐 New – our shrimp sandwich topped with red onion and apple.
🥩 Roast beef with remoulade and crispy onions
The sandwiches are served on our dark Swedish rye bread.

🇸🇪 There are probably as many ways to make Swedish meatballs as there are Swedish families. Everyone has their own recipe and their own idea of what a proper meatball should taste like. 😊

We make ours our own way, with a little mustard, eggs, and boiled potato for that lovely, juicy texture.

And they bring back memories! When Ellen’s brother was little, he came home from preschool one day and announced:

“The meatballs at preschool are much better than yours, Mum!” 😂

Ouch! Especially when the competition is… ready-made preschool meatballs.

We hope our meatballs live up to the challenge! ❤️

For us, Swedish meatballs are more than just food – they’re a little taste of home, childhood, and family. 🇸🇪

How about this for dinner?
Introducing our new Danish roast beef sandwich—a classic sandwich packed with flavor.
We serve it on rye bread with roast beef, slow-cooked by Anders until it’s incredibly tender and juicy. Then, we top it off with remoulade, crispy onions, pickled pearl onions, and pickles.
A simple combination of classic flavors—exactly how we think a truly great sandwich should be.

New on the menu. We serve our marinated chicken skewers with Ellens potato gratin. Just one warning. The potato gratin contains a lot of garlic. 😄
