Well have just put a post on half moon montemar and would like to share this with the Bistro , As we are still getting a good feed back on our business we thought this would be a good opportunity to inform people that the freehold is up for sale , As my Big birthday is around the corner I guess it's time to move on , If anyone is interested , please make contact I would happily negotiate a good deal for the right person ,regards The Trotters , retired ,

Thank u for posting this today , we spent thirty yrs working and enjoying the time spent with customers staff and friends at Half Moon ,it deserves to be remembered, Charlie and I will never forget and many thanks to you Gary for taking time to read this and share , X X bless you .

Well my dears , it's an end of an era ,we're both sad but excited to have freedom , to enjoy family an friends , cannot believe we have had Half Moon for nearly thirty yrs and have such great memories and lots of laughter , I want to thank all my lovely customers and friends for their custom my fantastic staff over the yrs cos we couldn't have done this without them , Leanne you worked above and beyond for us , and cannot thank both ,you and Roberto for your loyalty , and Suzanne good luck back in the kitchen of Half Moon , hope to stay in touch on F B and let's wish the new couple all the luck in the world, To James an Caroline , one last thing , on trip advisor the review says we were 130 out of 520 restaurants in torremolinos , for good food so guys pat yourself on the back , what a wonderful way to finish , , we will never forget our time and I'm sure over the yrs we will still be telling stories about our time there , all the very best everyone , I'm off to celebrate my Big Birthday with all my family , just come from a fabulous holiday with my daughter , Thanks Sam it was perfect , now to see the rest of my family oh happy days x x x

This is to wish all our wonderful customers and friends a very Happy New year , good health an happiness to each and every one , special thoughts and love to Leanne , and Margarita you will be missed ,but my darling friend you will never be forgotten , I'm sure that most of you know that Charlie has been in hospital twice this year and at our age that's too much , so we are going to retire, the Half Moon has been a big part of our lives for nearly thirty years , and we have been more than lucky to have had such wonderful Staff and friends working to help us keep it open , but it needs young blood , so as sad as we feel , we are really excited to tell you all ,we have sold to a really nice couple from Scotland , they will be opening up late January or early February , I so hope you can all give them the support and custom that you have given us , will still be on F B , so I expect and hope to hear from you all , All the very best everyone and much love from the oldest Chieffett and chef on the costa , Now Retired x x x

Been a funny start to the year ,bad news about magaret so leane has been looking after her hopefully back next wednesdayi have been in hospital for over a week with a blood disorder,waiting for the dr to release me today,so robert has kept the place open god blees him and all the staff
