At T35, we’re proud to serve one of the finest matchas in the city — made from Gyokuro, one of Japan’s most precious green teas.

Gyokuro means “jade dew” or “precious dew.” About three weeks before harvesting, the tea bushes are carefully shaded from the sunlight. This traditional process reduces bitterness, increases amino acids, and creates that beautiful, deep umami flavor.

Matcha made from Gyokuro is truly special — refined, vibrant, and wonderfully smooth.

And, of course, we also have Hojicha. This unique Japanese green tea is roasted at around 200°C rather than steamed. The roasting turns the leaves a warm brown and gives the tea a soft, comforting flavor with notes of nuts, caramel, and a gentle smokiness — without the sharp, astringent bitterness on the palate and aftertaste you may find in other green teas.

Hojicha is also naturally much lower in caffeine, making it a lovely choice even in the evening.
