A little thank you to everyone who made it such an epic one. We’ve loved every busy service, sunny afternoon and big weekend with you.

We’re taking a short break through October and will be back November 4, serving up all your favourites alongside a brand new prix fixe menu.

Thank you for an incredible season!

We’re taking a short break to give our team a well-earned rest. We’ll be closed throughout October and back November 4.

And we’ve got plenty planned for the month ahead, including a new prix fixe menu to welcome you back, Cornucopia dinners, and a WSET Level 2 W**e Course with SommW**e’s Joanne, hosted right here at Mekong.

Meet Tula, our sous chef all the way from Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭

When he’s not in the kitchen, you’ll probably find him out exploring Whistler and making the most of everything the mountains have to offer.

From Bangkok to Whistler, we’re pretty lucky to have Tula as part of the Mekong family.

Oh, what a pleasure it is to have you on our team. All the way from Bangkok, Tula brings so much warmth and always manages to put a smile on our faces. We’re very proud to have you as part of the Mekong family.

Ask him for his go-to order and he’ll say one of everything. He genuinely loves the whole menu, but what he loves most about Mekong is the people. This team is family to him, and we feel exactly the same.

On a day off, you’ll find him enjoying a good meal, getting out into nature and keeping an eye out for the bears. And his motto says it all: every little thing is gonna be alright 🎶

The Downhill World Cup lands here September 25–27. Training Friday, qualifying Saturday, finals Sunday, and free entry all weekend.

And yes, Jackson Goldstone will be racing on home dirt in the rainbow jersey, chasing another win.

Make Mekong your Creekside base. Mekong Express for something quick between races, or stay for lunch and dinner. We’re open 11am ’til late all weekend.
