Introducing…The Vintage Supper Club!

While The Vintage Grind Café continues to serve breakfast, specialty coffees, house-made baking, and grab-and-go favourites during the day, The Vintage Supper Club offers a relaxed, reservation-only evening dining experience.

Join us Tuesday through Saturday for our three-course prix fixe dinner, with seatings at 5:15 PM and 8:00 PM.

📍 Both experiences are located at The Eriksen Premises, 8 West Street, Trinity.

Fresh new flavours are waiting for you at The Vintage Grind Café! 🌿

Our handcrafted artisanal charcuterie boxes in 2 sizes are perfect for lunch, a picnic, or an afternoon treat, featuring a delicious assortment of specialty cured meats and cheeses, house-made chocolate, chutneys, candied nuts, and other carefully selected accompaniments.

Our talented baker, Frances, has also filled our café with the aroma of freshly baked scones! Choose from seasonal rhubarb, blueberry, or strawberry—all made from scratch and perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Looking for something more substantial? We prepare fresh sandwiches and wraps daily…our Black Forest ham & aged cheddar on multigrain sourdough and chicken Caesar salad wrap have quickly become customer favourites.

Planning a picnic or a relaxing evening? We can pair any of our takeout menu items—including our charcuterie boxes, sandwiches, wraps, and salads—with a bottle of wine from our carefully selected wine list, making it easy to enjoy a complete gourmet meal wherever you choose.

Whether you’re heading to the beach, setting out on a hike, enjoying a boat tour, or simply looking for a delicious meal to take home, we’ve got you covered.

🍽️ Our prix fixe 3 course evening dinner service at Eriksen Premises begins tomorrow evening, June 17, at 6:00 PM!

We’re excited to welcome guests for an elevated dining experience featuring fresh ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and the flavours of Newfoundland.

Chef Heidi’s MENU for June 17:

APPETIZERS
🥣 Creamy Lemon Parsnip Soup
A velvety parsnip purée infused with bright lemon flavours and finished with a touch of cream.

🥗 Mediterranean Greek Salad
Crisp greens, cucumber, red peppers, tomatoes, red onion, olives, and feta cheese tossed in a Mediterranean vinaigrette.

ENTRÉES
🦞 Newfoundland Lobster & Shrimp
Finished with a champagne cream sauce and served with rosemary-roasted baby potatoes, sautéed broccolini, and rainbow carrots.

🍷 Red Wine–Braised Lamb Shank
Slow-braised with Herbs de Provence and served with whipped potatoes, sautéed broccolini, and rainbow carrots.

DESSERT
🍫 Chocolate Torte
A rich and decadent chocolate cake topped with a silky dark chocolate ganache.

We can accommodate most dietary restrictions with sufficient notice. A cocktail and wine selection are also available 🍸🍷

We’re delighted to announce that evening dining is returning to The Eriksen Premises! 🍽️

Join us Tuesday through Saturday evenings for a relaxed table d’hôte dining experience inspired by the flavours of Newfoundland and the warmth of heritage hospitality in the heart of Trinity.

Guests will enjoy seasonally curated menus, prepared by Chef Heidi Anderson, alongside a selection of handcrafted cocktails and a select wine menu.

We’re hiring two energetic, personable servers to join our team for the summer season. If you love great food, great people, and the kind of place where every day feels like an experience—you’ll fit right in.

What Your Summer Could Look Like:
- Serving guests in a warm, elevated dining environment
- Evenings off exploring Trinity’s theatre scene, live music, and local events
- Days spent hiking coastal trails, whale watching, or relaxing by the ocean

Position Details:
- Start Date: Mid May
- Schedule: 5 evenings per week, approximately 8 hours per shift
- Opportunity for additional hours based on business levels
- Seasonal position

- Serving experience is an asset (but great attitude matters just as much)

- Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays)
