Yeap! It was a sad long day! It took 12 hours to remove the shop in pieces.
The goal is to rebuild it at our new home, however, the shop had been there for five years, so it’s in rough shape. We had no idea.
It wasn’t built like a typical shed/shop as it was built to attached to the fence of 1400 Queen St. E.

We are looking at other solutions to figure out costing and timelines in the new space.

We are super excited as a new space is a patio so we will have some seating.

ANNOUNCEMENT .. After years of memories, late nights, lineups, laughter and ice cream… this little shop is coming down. 🍦💔

But this isn’t the end — it’s the beginning of something bigger. We’re moving to our new home at 1110 Queen Street East and opening this June. New space. New energy. Same heart. Stay tuned. ✨

ANNOUNCEMENT! Last Ice Cream Day - Sunday May 3
We want to thank everyone for their amazing support over the past 5 years!

Our landlord is selling the building so we will not be re-opening at 1400 Queen St E for 2026. We would love to relocate in the area so we’re having some conversations with landlords so keep your fingers crossed for us! 🙏

In the meantime Sun May 3, we are selling our ice cream for $3/cup. We don’t have lots of supply so bring your cups and spoons! 😃. “Lots of ice cream as we were preparing for the season”

Update Time!
So it has been a whirlwind of emotions over the past 6 months. Are we moving forwards, are we not? What next or how do we proceed?! Where do we go?

Well, I am happy to say “We are on our way!” Last week, the building inspector closed the file. We proved that the building is not attached to The Vandenberg House. Yay!
Our Carlaw neighbour Andrew came to the rescue.. like a boss! He kept me calm and rest assured he came through. He is a fantastic carpenter so if anyone needs some work done reach out and I’ll refer!

In the meantime as we figure out next steps..

Little Moo’s 70 sq ft kiosk needs a small modification to comply with the City of Toronto.

We met with the inspector — the requirement is simple: show the kiosk is not attached to the building.

Backstory: In 2020, when the shop was built, city of Toronto was closed but we followed the online building requirements. 1.Not attached to the building 2. under 100 sqft.

We just need someone to help us

We’re looking for:
• A contractor or skilled handyman
• Someone with a skillsaw + drill
• Experience with small exterior structures

We can’t pay big right now — but we can offer:
