Stracciatella - Strach-e-tella -
What is this flavour? We get asked about this one and how to pronounce it quite a bit! Stracciatella is Italian for “shreds” or “strings” used to describe pasta, soup, cheese & gelato! This gelato is a classic Italian flavour, that made its debut in the 1960’s, it has been around for some time and with good reason. The base of this gelato is a sweet cream, which is layered with a fine chocolate drizzle. The chocolate freezes and creates a crackle like texture throughout the smooth base which is just melt in your mouth delicious! Try some of this classic flavour the next time you visit us!
