Hi everyone thank you for your patience as we continue to work with Simon away for a little while with family.

The three drivers that are available are doing the best that they can for giving continued service while still juggling their own personal schedules.

So our delivery service for the next 4 days is this:
Sunday 10-6
Monday 10-6
Tuesday Closed
Wednesday 11-8

Many thanks for your support and patience during this difficult time.

Dear Valued Customers,

This is business owner Simon speaking and I wanted to personally share a brief update with you.

I have to remain away from the business unexpectedly due a family medical emergency involving my mother and her heart surgery. Unfortunately, there have been complications, and as a result, I will be away for several more days maybe longer, while I stay with my family and make sure she receives the care and support she needs.

During my absence, Our driver Tawnee will be overseeing Harbourside Delivery and coordinating our drivers and day-to-day operations. Our goal is to make sure the service you have come to rely on continues without interruption.

I also want to be transparent about something important. As a small local business, having our customers continue to use and support us during this time makes a genuine difference. If you need a delivery while I am away, we would sincerely appreciate you choosing Harbourside Delivery. Every order helps keep our drivers working, keeps the business moving, and growing to a place where we can expand our services and offer more types of deliveries. This also allows me to focus on my family without having to worry as much about the business while I'm gone.

While our staff has grown even shorter because of this, we truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support. I am looking forward to returning as soon as I am able, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to choose Harbourside Delivery.
Thank you for supporting our local business and, especially during this difficult time, supporting our team.
Sincerely,
Simon

Dear Harbourside Delivery Customers,

We wanted to take a moment to personally share an upcoming change to our delivery pricing, and more importantly, to explain why we feel it is necessary.

As a local business, we know that every dollar matters. We also know how important it is to have a reliable delivery service that our community can count on. Over the past while, the cost of fuel and other expenses has continued to rise, and we also want to make sure we can provide our drivers with a fair and reasonable wage for the work they do.

Because of this, starting next Tuesday our standard delivery fee will be changing from $8.50 to $10.00.

For our customers who are 65 or older or who are receiving income assistance, the delivery fee will remain at $8.50. We feel strongly that this is an important way for us to continue supporting members of our community who may be on a tighter budget.

We want you to know that we have not made this decision lightly. Harbourside Delivery was built around our community, and we want it to continue being a service that is here for our neighbours—not just today, but for many years to come.

Part of making that happen is being able to build and keep a great team of local drivers. We want our drivers to feel valued, fairly compensated, and proud to be part of what we are building together. We believe that when we take care of our drivers, they can continue taking great care of you.

We are incredibly grateful for the support you have shown us. Every order, every recommendation, and every kind word helps a small local business like ours continue to grow.

We truly believe that a local business should be about more than simply providing a service. It should be about people, relationships, and community—and that's what we hope Harbourside Delivery will always be.

Thank you for your understanding, your loyalty, and for allowing us to continue serving you. We are proud to be part of this community and look forward to continuing this journey together.

With sincere thanks,

Dan & Simon
