We make everything from scratch and emphasize local ingredients. Our menu is varied with numerous options for carnivores, vegetarians, kids and gluten free diets. We also have a full service in house bakery, grab and go deli and espresso bar. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus weekend brunch. HEADS UP ROCK SALT FAITHFUL!

Unfortunately we are dealing with some minor kitchen issues and we will need to have café/deli/bakery only for the entirety of Tuesday June 30th and Wednesday
(Canada Day) July 1.

This means our dining room and patio will be completely closed both days. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and we’ll be back to our usual hours and service on Thursday morning.

In the meantime, please hit up our café for all your favorite muffins, samosas, and more as well as our usual deli items and full café menu from 7:00am on.

Again, our apologies and happy Canada Day to you all.

Happy Challenge Cup May Long Weekend!

We are here for all of your needs all weekend long and definitely open our usual hours on Monday. It’s gonna be a wild one as 40 soccer teams, sailors, and day trippers alike will be attempting to leave.
Make sure you plan on at least a one sailing wait and don’t worry, we’ll feed and water you while you relax and wait for a boat 🛥️

It’s a monumental Rock Salt birthday!

We’re not at liberty to discuss WHICH monumental birthday our beloved Tasha is celebrating, but it’s a big one!

It’s Friday and the weather is looking minty for this weekend. Great patio and cold beverage weather!

Know what else is good in this weather? Steak cooked by someone else.

Tonight and for the rest of the weekend, Chef has prepared a sous vide AAA flat iron steak, marinated in herbs, olive oil, oyster sauce and black pepper. Don’t let the oyster sauce deter you, it’s a perfect sweet and salty umami bomb that tastes like the backyard grill out you always wanted. Consider this a for the next time you grill. Brings the summer right back no matter the time of year!

Served with roasted fingerling potatoes, fresh broccoli and asparagus, and really fresh chermoula.
