The last couple of weekends at Halal Food Fest and Islam Fest have been pretty special for me, for anyone who doesn’t know the story, RABS RUBS & RIBS was basically born at Ummah Fest 2025.
So coming back this year for Islam Fest 2026 felt very full circle. Halal Food Fest was another crazy weekend.
The response was more than we could keep up with, and unfortunately we sold out early each day at Halal Food Fest, so I know a lot of you still didn’t get the chance to try us. I’m incredibly grateful for that kind of support, and hopefully we’ll get you next time.
But the biggest thing I took away from these weekends was all your support and kind words, and ontop of all else was my family and friends that made it all happen. They all showed up and supported me every step of the way. Cooking, prepping, serving, cleaning, running around, and doing whatever needed to be done. None of these festivals would have been possible without them.
RABS RUBS & RIBS might have my name attached to it, but they are RABS RUBS & RIBS.
At the end of the day, we’re still a small family business trying to build something special for our community. Seeing how far this has come since that first festival last year is something I’m extremely grateful for. Alhumdulillah
