That was really good chicken korma!!! The curry was so creamy and rich and goes so well with their plump soft ginger & garlic naan. I know it already comes with rice but, I’ve never eaten Indian curry without naan 🤭 it goes so well especially when the curry is done right.

Sometimes I wish I had a second stomach, but I guess it’ll have to be another trip to try the Jennifer’s salt basa fish in coconut curry.

Best zucchini sticks by far! I also love the home made dressing they use for White Spot Restaurants Caesar salad 🥗. I love these sides so much the bacon cheese burger is just the accompaniment for me 🤣

The place was packed, glad to see it! Don’t want our branch to close up like the rest have.

I like a good unagi 👍 and wherever they’re served, I’m bound to try it. ENISHI Japanese Kitchen in Steveston used to be the Yokohama Teppanyaki place. The space is pretty much the same with the Teppanyaki tables, so some of the seating is a little weird.

A good unagi has very minimal bones if not, at least tender enough that it melts in your mouth. Skin texture should have a little crisp with a nice smoky char. And most importantly, the meat should not be rubbery. I like that they put shreds of tamago between it and the rice.

The hazards of the Broadway construction has left me not knowing about this restaurant. Beautiful interiors, free parking at the back, and service was ‘nicer’ than your average busy dimsum restaurant on a weekend 🤣 #ɪʏᴋʏᴋ Recommendations courtesy of Irene Phan thankfully!

Some of my favorites were the egg tarts, pineapple bun with bbq pork (it doesn’t have🍍😁), e-fu noodles, taro pastry and fried calamari.

Good to have the original Asian with great company 🥰
