Our sweet Rebekah is off to the big city and all the wonder and magic it holds. It feels so bittersweet to say goodbye, but we’re so grateful for the time we had together 🧡🧡🧡

LOTS TO SHARE!!

1. WE HAVE MERCH! Designed and screenprinted by our resident visual arts grad extraordinaire .k.b.r.e.e + inspired by in house latte art and good day-to-day conversations. Each shirt is one of a kind, and sourced secondhand to reduce waste.

2. Coffee merch tent! Located just outside the shop at the corner of 13th and Elphinstone. Shirts will be available first come, first serve in our CVAF merch tent starting at 10am on May 23rd. Cash only. Head out to the tent to snag beans and brewing equipment too!

3. Saturday, May 23rd Pause will be OPEN 9am to 6pm.

4. Sunday, May 24th the shop will be CLOSED so we can recover from all the CVAF chaos and fun.

5. Fudgesicle Iced Lattes are back!!! Quite *literally* a fudgesicle in an iced latte. They’re fun. Get one.

6. The beloved Cold Brew Sunrise and Vanilla Sunrise are back!!

7. Decaf Cold Brew is back starting May 23rd!

Sleep well tonight folks, we ride at dawn (actually at 9am…)!

On November 5, 2024 we were feeling pretty down and unsure about the future. We needed some kind of hope, thus started the first conversation board - ‘What brings you JOY?’

Really beautiful connection blossomed.

Nearly a year and a half later, the dialogue continues. The warmth that these little touch points have instilled has been sustaining, and an important reminder of the beautiful community that surrounds us.

The shop is two years old today! While the business has been around for a bit longer, the actual shop is the embodiment of the vision we were chasing after for so long.

A hub of community and connection.

An easy to access source for equitably sourced coffee.

A shop that leaves the pretentiousness at the door and instead prioritizes well crafted coffee while inviting people into the magic and wonder.

We have some ideas on how we want to celebrate and will fill you in soon. For now, thank you so much for helping to make this dream a reality. We’re feeling goofy, giddy, and grateful!

OH! PS. This Sunday we are kicking off celebrations with ! Come by the shop from 12-3 with the kiddos for a chill, but fun toy swap.

Starting Monday, March 30th shop hours will be:

pair them with a lavender london fog blondie prepared by to really lean into it

please note lavender garnish has been added in the photo for a litre extra ✨zhouzh✨ but it won’t be on drinks prepared to order

Today is our sweet Penelope’s last day at the shop!

She’s been a core and integral part of our team since we opened the doors on 13th & Elphinstone - a thoughtful and calm presence, the queen of matcha, and with a stellar and diverse taste in music to boot.

We’re going to miss her so dearly, but are so grateful for the almost two years we’ve gotten to share with her!
