About a year ago, we came to you with a concern about food waste. Sadly, we’re here again.
When we brought this concern to you last year, many of you suggested that we implement a waste charge. After a lot of consideration, we feel that this is now necessary.

We’ve noticed that a lot of food waste comes from folks taking more than they can finish, often followed by several dessert choices that are picked at and left behind. We completely understand that sometimes you take something and realize it just isnt for you, or that your eyes were simply bigger than your stomach. This is why we remind every guest to take smaller portions and make as many trips to the buffet as you like.

We are busier than ever, and we are incredibly grateful for that. But when we see large amounts of food going into the garbage, it means more money spent on groceries, more food being prepared, and more labour, all for food that ultimately isnt eaten. This unfortunately plays a big part in pricing increases.

The easiest way to avoid waste (and an extra charge!) is to start with smaller portions and come back as often as you like... there's always more!

Thank you for understanding, and more importantly for helping us respect the food, time and hard work that goes into every dish ❤️

You know the feeling where you're super proud, but also a little selfishly sad? Well, we've been feeling it here at Saskitoba this week.
These 3 incredible girls are all off to continue post secondary education.
Alyssa and Cyanne have both chosen to focus 100% on their studies so it was goodbye 👋 😭 Cheyenne is sticking around part time as sports and studies allow so you'll still see her here and there.
We are incredibly proud of all of them! We hope you have an incredible year at school girls ❤️
