Now that we’ve got your attention after Kyle’s gold medal hat trick let’s discuss some important dates. It’s that time of year when everybody asks ‘When do you close for the season?’ the answer is not until New Year’s Eve! But our last week of regular dinner and brunch service will be December 20th, then we do our annual Christmas Eve Brunch and NYE dinner. So, good news is there is still lots of time to plan a visit to Fork, but if you haven’t secured your Holiday reservations yet, I’d recommend doing it.

We’re having another Holiday Market in the Greenhouse this year, too! This time with triple the amount of molasses butter 😂 The Holiday Market will be on December 20th.

Also, This Thursday we will be closed as Kyle will be at the Merchant Tavern taking part in The Foragers Feast with a bunch of other chefs and your favourite forager, Shawn Dawson. Tickets are now sold out for this event.

What a crew! ❤️ (missing a few)

Last evening after many busy weeks, our crew took a moment to slow down, catch our breath, and celebrate our one and only Wolfgang before he moves to the big city of St. John’s.

Wolfgang came to us as a Cook’s Apprentice through the Youth Apprenticeship Program last year, a program that gives high school students a chance to explore a skilled trade by working alongside experienced trades people. Next week he is off to to continue learning.

Thank you Wolfgang, for the many chocolate iced coffees, for the staff meals, for the countless laughs, for caring so much about the timing on the chits, for being so kind to your co-workers. We will certainly miss seeing you every week but we’re excited to see what the future holds for you.
