🦃🇨🇦 CANADIAN THANKSGIVING… WITH A LITTLE SOUTH AFRICAN FLAVOUR

Let's talk about the important stuff.

THE FOOD. 😂

Canadian Thanksgiving says:

🦃 Turkey
🥔 Mashed potatoes
🥕 Vegetables
🥧 Pumpkin pie
🍂 Apple pie

South Africans say:

“That's lovely… but what else are we eating?” 😂🇿🇦

Because a proper South African gathering somehow turns into:

🥩 Meat
🌭 Boerewors
🥖 Fresh bread
🥗 Salads
🍰 Milk tart
🍪 Koeksisters
🍫 Peppermint Crisp anything
🇿🇦 And enough food to feed the Springboks

And let's be honest…

You can take the South African out of South Africa…

but you cannot take the “make enough food for everyone + 12 extra people” out of the South African. 😂

Whether you're making a traditional Canadian Thanksgiving dinner, firing up the braai, or combining the two — we hope your table is full, your family is happy and nobody asks:

“Is there any food?”

…while standing directly beside the food. 😂

Happy Thanksgiving! 🇨🇦❤️🇿🇦

And if you're looking for a little taste of home…
