A Farewell to Our Restaurant Jamila’s Kitchen!
After much reflection and with mixed emotions to announce that, We have sold our restaurant, and our last day of operation will be at the end of January 2026. This decision did not come easily, but it comes with deep gratitude and pride for everything this place has been.
From the very beginning, this restaurant was never just about food—it was about people. We are incredibly thankful to our loyal customers, our dedicated suppliers, our supportive friends and neighbors, and our landlord, whose trust and cooperation made this journey possible. With your support, kindness, and encouragement over the years we were able to live out that dream through our “No Money, No Worries” initiative, ensuring that no one in our community ever went hungry because of hardship. THANK YOU!
We are also excited to share that a new owner will be taking over, and we truly encourage you to welcome and support them as you have supported us. Every restaurant thrives because of its community, and we hope you’ll continue to make this space a place of warmth, connection, and good food.
Thank you for being part of our story. We will carry these memories with us always, and we hope to see many of you before the end of January so we can say goodbye in person.
