This morning I tried out a 4 cheese & onion loaf. The smell and flavours are amazing.. however, the rise on this bad boy was not to my liking.

I'm the kind of gal that knows when things don't turn out to our expectations.. and this didn't meet mine. If I'm not satisfied why would you be?! All items that are not to my liking I do not charge my clients for. So there's a few loaves that are going to their forever tummies free of charge this am.

Stay out of the smoke and heat today my friends 🧡

While I was on family vacation time the Koffiehuis went in the shop for a couple adjustments.

A leak free hydraulic serving window and beautiful new counter. Gives it a sleek coffee house vibe and a polished look for all our weddings & special events.

Come stop by the Henrics Koffiehuis for a latte, lemonade, dirty soda or one of our delicious giant cookies! 🍪

Today we welcomed the newest member to the cookie family.. Sprocket!

It's been just about two years since we had to say goodbye to our wonderful golden doodle Barkley. It felt like the right time to let our mini poodle Sprocket into our lives.

We've had such an enjoyable summer 2026 memory making break, and excited to jump back in for Monday's Bala Market. Stay tuned for our cookie line up and our favourite flavour dirty soda coming for Monday! ☀️

We will be out of office and out of the bake shop for this week. We need to make some 2026 summer time memories together ☀️

Full days are full days. Mixing business and family. Find that balance to be there for what and who you love. There are some days that I will be missing this season. Your babies are only babies for so long.. make sure you're there for what matters! They work with me in the buggy, and I work with them on the field.

There was that amazing balance this week of balance and ball. The The Rosseau Side Market, Delicious days of summer festival, Leacock Museum and The Orillia Farmers' Market and topped off with our Monday home at Bala Market.

Thank you to everyone that ordered and stopped by the koffiehuis this week. You are appreciated and seen!! 💛

Guess who got together to create a magical little sugar baby! We joined up with Cotton’s Crooked Stack Sugar Shack and we've brought you the waffle! 🧇

This cookie is no joke! Full of pancake, maple syrup, crispy bacon and vanilla! Crooked Stack knows what they're doing and it shines..umm, pours in yummy goodness.
