We want to send a huge thank you to everyone who has already shared photos for our “Cochrane People Doing Cochrane Things” wall here at the 49th Parallel!

We’ve received some amazing submissions that capture the spirit of our community. From fishing adventures and ATV rides to camping trips, snowmobile excursions, hunting memories, family fun, and everything in between. It’s been incredible to see Cochrane through your eyes.

The best part? We still have lots of wall space left to fill!

If you’ve been by the 49th any day during the day shift, you’ll know one of our amazing employees, Shelby. On Monday, Shelby and her family unfortunately lost their home in a fire.

We are glad that Shelby, her husband, their three sons, and most of their pets were able to safely evacuate out of the home. However as they move forward with rebuilding their lives, they face a long journey forward.
