FUNGI WEEK • Oct 28-Nov 1
Join us as we celebrate the local harvest and our final week open before our annual two week break with a full menu inspired by all things fungi.
We are working with a local mushroom farm to showcase foraged and locally sourced ingredients all week long with a few extra special days. On Thursday we will have our usual mini w**e pairings with fungi incorporated. On Halloween Saturday Taylor Popke will be at the bar discussing local plant species while our bartenders craft cocktails featuring mushrooms and foraged ingredients.

We’ll cap off the celebrate on Sunday night with a w**e dinner featuring Cru W**e Merchants highlighting the local terroir through fungi alongside w**es from around the world, tickets are $140.

Closed tonight and Wednesday due to unexpected maintenance, for our five year anniversary our stove and deep fryer have quit and we will keep the local electrician and gas fitters busy, happy to be open with brand new equipment Thursday!

Continuing our meet the senior staff series ….

Braden is one of our chefs he is in charge of the beautiful appetizers and desserts. Braden has an eye for beauty and you can tell on his plates for his appreciation for details. Fun facts about Braden he only signs ASL, so if you’re popping by give him a wave. The team has been working on improving their sign so we can communicate with him too! Braden loves biking, skiing and fishing, therefore Calabogie is a perfect place for him to be! You’ll catch him watching Tour de France in the kitchen. Say 👋👋 Braden next time you’re in!

Continuing our Meet the Senior Staff series, this is Matt, also known as Matty. You may not see him often since he usually stays in the kitchen, but he has been with us since day one. As our grill and sauce master, Matt is behind many of the dishes you enjoy. His love of rap music is matched only by his passion for cooking, so if you hear rap coming from the kitchen, you know he is in the zone. Matt’s quiet humour and caring nature, always looking out for his teammates, make him an invaluable part of our team. Matt’s drink of choice is none other than a rum and coke. Paige is one of our lead servers. Her preferred beverages include various styles of margaritas, ranging from mezcal-based to spicy options, as well as a chilled glass of Bachelder Chardonnay. Paige enjoys selecting indie music for dinner service if we let her, thus the song choice. She is often seen with an Arbonne fizz and is consistently recognised for her calm and steady presence.

Come in tonight to taste two w**es with Holly every Thursday is our mini w**e tasting series 🍷🍷

Holly like Stefan has been with us since we opened for restaurant service in 2021. Holly wears a few hats with us, she is our sommelier and in charge of our w**e program. Holly loves bubbles you will catch her sipping great Ontario bubbles, to ch*****ne after shift. Holly will soothe the start of service by getting Stefan to listen to relaxing music thus the song choice. She is known to force the rest of the staff to swim during and post service in the winter and the summer.
