Whilst Boston Bay may be the birthplace of jerk cuisine, the most highly regarded "jerk pit" is Scotchies, just outside of Montego Bay. Jerk food is cooked in the traditional-style, on open-air barbeques over pimento wood. Spicy jerk chicken and pork are the specialities of Scotchies but a milder jerk fish is also available, along with a wide range of side dishes such as festival, rice and peas, r

oast yam, breadfruit, potatoes and corn. Food is served wrapped in foil and is available to eat-in or take-away. The eat-in environment is rustically atmospheric, comprising of wooden tables, barrel stools and grass umbrellas. There is also a thatched-roof full service bar ad music playing, making Scotchies a great place to linger a while, soak up the atmosphere and play a few rounds of dominoes. Building on the reputation of the Montego Bay original, Scotchies have opened up another branch in Drax Hall (just outside of Ocho Rios) and, more recently, in Kingston. However, Scotchies Montego Bay is the original and, for many people, will always be the best. the ambiance of a tropical oasis or better yet a rain forest with trails leading to little private cabanas. it is very breathtaking, not to mention the food which is to die for.... last but not least the price very affordable & the staff was very polite, pleasant and attentive, great customer service which is on par so keep it up.

Scotchies Restaurant is opened for customers to sit and enjoy their food in our outdoor palapas. Our opening hours are 11:00am to 6:00 pm. Come on over and enjoy our Jerk Chicken and Pork, Spicy Burgers, Wings, Salpicons and much more.

At our next scheduled club meeting set for this Tuesday July 30th, we're going to have the talented Mrs. Yuri Alpuche as our guest speaker.

Short Bio: Jeannie Alpuche - Mrs Alpuche is a project management professional with a focus on digital transformation with over 10 years of experience working in both the private and public sector.
She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in BA (Hons) Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University International Business School in the United Kingdom, her Master’s Degree (MPM) in Project Management from la Universidad para la Cooperacion International- Global School of Project Management, Costa Rica and a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business from Emeritus Institute of Management, Singapore.
Yuri is currently working on her own start- up company whose purpose is to increase the value of entities through innovation.
