We're proud to share that our Espresso Bar has been recognised among Europe's Top 100 Coffee Shops.

Our philosophy of hospitality is clear: great coffee, served with great service. Behind that vision is intention in every corner of the shop, every training, every machine, every interaction with our guests. We spend a good amount of our time rethinking how to do coffee and service better, every single day.

This one's for our teams. The ones who stand behind this vision and deliver it daily, even on the hard days. It pushes us to keep raising the bar and take specialty coffee to new heights.

And to every customer who believes in us, thank you for being part of this milestone with us.

Great as a cold brew on a summer-y day.

Our new Easy Rider is a comforting and sweet coffee from Jhon Silva, a small producer in Queromarca, Peru. Jhon grows 4 hectares of Caturra coffee trees at 2000 masl. After picking, the cherries rest for 24 hours before being depulped, washed and dried.

It makes for an easy-drinking, sweet cup. We find notes of red apple, honey and chamomile.

After 7 beautiful years we are closing our shop in rue de Flandre. Pass by on July 17th for a final brew session with the OG crew, and for drinks afterwards.

Rue de Flandre was our first roastery, cupping lab, shop and event space. But more than that, it felt like a public space, a gathering place for the coffee community in the early days of the specialty wave in Brussels. We hosted countless trainings, cuppings, parties and even an Aeropress championship. We’re turning the page on this chapter to focus all our attention on future projects.

But not without a last goodbye! On July 17th our original crew will be back at the bar, brewing competition coffees from World of Coffee. At 18h, we’ll bring out wine and pizza. It would mean the world to us to see all our friends and customers back at this location for one last time.

Time to kick off Ethiopia & Kenya season. This lot from Aricha Adorsi is the first of a series of East African releases.

Rutger and Jay visited the station last October and met with Ahmed, the station’s Quality Manager. Over 1000 smallholders supply the station with cherry from plots reaching up to 2300 masl.

This is a clean, bright and fruity espresso. Everything you want from a washed Ethiopia. Expect notes of apricot, tangerine and honey.

This was World Of Coffee Brussels. What a week. Thanks to everyone that stopped by, for the great conversations and brews and for the many beautiful moments. Competing and hosting so many events has been an honor. It reminded us why we fell in love with this industry in the first place.

Big shoutout to our team who delivered exceptional hospitality in a very busy week.

Wednesday we hand over our bars to two of Europe’s leading roasters.

Coffee Collective takes over St Catherine, from 12h to 17h. Copenhagen-based, founded by a team of world barista champions, with an uncompromising commitment to direct trade, farmer transparency and lighter, more expressive roasts.

A Matter of Concrete takes over our Espresso Bar, also from 12h to 17h. Rotterdam-based, founded by award-winning barista Rob Clarijs, with an uncompromising commitment to precision, transparency and a data-driven approach to exceptional coffee.

You’ll also be able to buy their coffees in shop. Both bars, one afternoon. Come taste the difference.
