CLOSED TODAY TO RECOVER!

We made the call to close for the day to give the staff a day off after working there arses off yesterday.

Possibly one of the greatest days I've experienced in my career. We've sold out of almost everything. What a game. What a crowd. What a team. Still can't believe it.

We'll be back open tomorrow at 10am as usual.

The final whistle has blown on an incredible World Cup journey!! 🏆

From the early mornings (or the late nights 😉), packed venues, nervous moments, big celebrations, happy faces, sad faces, the cheers, the chants, the laughter and the incredible atmosphere — we just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came through our doors and shared it all with us.

Thank you for bringing the energy, the passion, the laughs and the good vibes. Thank you for supporting us, for cheering together, and for making The Happy Wombat the place to be for six massive weeks of football mayhem.

We’ve loved every minute of it and we’re so grateful for every single person who joined us along the way. ❤️
