I lovvvvve a strong coffee which is why I love this particular bean, it’s a darker roast giving you a much deeper flavour profile, it’s super smooth and has hints of dark chocolate, toffee and biscotti

If you’ve tried this one before I’d love to hear your thoughts and perhaps you could recommend another bean that’s similar I could try

La Union is one of several farms processed at the Cerro Alto micro mill. This mill is one of Axil’s longest standing relationships for the past 15 years and continues to deliver exceptional coffees, like this washed SL28.

Three cities, one shared purpose.

Last week, we joined Bennetts and Lohas Beans for Cup for Colombia, bringing the coffee community together across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Across three evenings of cupping and bidding, the auctions raised $18,000 to support communities affected by the earthquake in Colombia.

Thank you to everyone who came along and got behind the cause.

Founder’s Series: Part 4 – Demolition Day

Before the site is officially handed over to Axil Coffee, Dave and the team are given a short window during the defit to get in, check measurements, visualise the space and identify any challenges ahead.

Nothing ever goes exactly to plan when building a café, so this time is invaluable. It gives the team a chance to spot potential problems early, make adjustments and solve issues before they become bigger ones.

In Part 4 of the Founder’s Series, Dave takes us through demolition day and the work that happens behind the scenes before construction can officially begin.
