Sunday 19 July 2026 - a day to remember…

Yesterday was, well, something else…

Kicking off the day with a power outage, moving straight into a line out the door, it was unexpected to say the least.

Through the chaos, delays, having to tell customers we’d run out of our fresh batch made liège waffles hours before closing - everyone was happy, supportive and understanding.

Out of all the challenges, It ended with many positives.

We really got to appreciate how awesome our team is, how incredible our customers and supporters are and see how we adapted, improvised & overcome under pressure as a new business.

To everyone who came in and persevered, thank you.

To everyone who wanted to come in but couldn’t due to numbers, but smiled and shared positive words on how good it was to see us so busy, thank you.

From here, as a new business and team, we will regroup, learn, grow and evolve from these experiences and look forward to sharing the changes with you all.

Within 15 minutes, the team were on site and the issue was resolved. 💪
