Hi, I’m Bree 🤍

Around 2.5 years ago, I took a leap of faith and purchased Frisky Deer from my home in Wagga Wagga, NSW. While it might seem unusual to own a boutique on the other side of the country, I instantly fell in love with everything Frisky Deer represented and knew I wanted to continue its story.

I’ve always had a passion for retail, creating beautiful spaces and curating collections that help make a house feel like home. I also love finding effortless, everyday fashion that makes women feel confident, comfortable and inspired.

Although I call Wagga Wagga home, you’ll still find me in Mandurah every few weeks. I love spending time in the store, meeting our customers, working alongside our hands down amazing team and enjoying everything that makes this beautiful coastal community so special.

One of my favourite parts of Frisky Deer is our little in-store café in Mandurah. Creating beautiful spaces has always gone hand in hand with creating welcoming experiences, and I love being involved behind the scenes by helping with our house-made baking for both our Mandurah café and our Barefoot Gypsy café in Wagga Wagga. Baking has become another creative outlet that allows me to share something special with our customers.

More recently, I’ve also had the opportunity to bring that same passion to Wagga Wagga through our Frisky Deer & Barefoot Gypsy showroom—where we also serve fresh house-made baked goods and great coffee. Along with homewares, furniture & lifestyle. It’s been so rewarding to create another space where people can shop, connect and slow down for a little while.

Owning Frisky Deer has been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful for the support the Mandurah community has shown over the past 2.5 years. Thank you for welcoming me, supporting a small business from afar, and allowing me to do what I truly love.

Whether you’re visiting us in Mandurah or Wagga Wagga, thank you for being part of this journey. I can’t wait to continue bringing thoughtfully curated home, lifestyle and fashion collections to both communities for many years to come. 🤍
