🦪🇦🇺 FROM DUNALLEY TO IRELAND 🇮🇪🦪
Well… this is actually happening.
After this weekend, I’ll be packing my shucking knives and heading all the way from little old Dunalley, Tasmania, to Ireland to represent Australia at the World Oyster Opening Championships. 🌏🦪

It still feels a little surreal writing that.

Not that long ago, I was just happily shucking oysters, doing what I love and having a crack at a few competitions along the way. Somehow that journey has taken me from Tasmania to the Australian title… and now onto the world stage!!
I’m heading over there to give it everything I’ve got, soak up the experience, meet some incredible shuckers from around the world and, of course… shuck a ridiculous number of oysters. 😂

Win, lose or get absolutely humbled by an Irish oyster, I’m bloody proud representing Australia. 🇦🇺

A huge thank you to everyone who has backed me, cheered me on, shared my journey and believed in me along the way.
