Appreciation post 💗
Almost 3 years ago, we took a massive gamble, many of you will remember Allie and Myself from the bottom pub where we both worked for several years, unfortunately one day we both found ourselves suddenly unemployed and looking for our next lease on life, When we were offered the opportunity to take over our local beloved Pizza shop however, We couldn't say no. We used every dollar we had in the bank and relied on our beloved parents to house us for the foreseeable future.
That was Almost 3 years ago. Now we have a new life, a new member of our little family and a whole town full of loving, supportive regular customers that keep us going and we are able to employ several young staff members in their first/second jobs and support several local charity/NFP organisations where we can.
We truly believe that if we had tried this maneuver in any other town, it would not have worked.
As we come to the end of another quieter winter period, We Just want to say a massive thank you to the amazing Cygnet community who have supported us not only in the business but in our personal lives. The amount of thoughts, care and love that our family receives from this community is actually unbelievable. Especially through the winter months where we know that everybody is doing it really tough in this sh*tty economy.
We believe that everyone in this town are part of a family, our family. We love being able to pass on the support we get from this town to other local businesses and organisations. Thats why the saying "support local" is more than just a saying. It's an essential way of life.
