BANNING MUSICIANS IS NOT NEW, NOT SURPRISING

Some of us have been banned from the so called State functions all our career.
I remember ZNBC Radio 4 literally hounding me out of the studio barely minutes before a paid for interview with Jack Mwale. The station even had the guts to write me officially siting that they 'do not deal with radicals' 🤣🤣.
Just today I was watching a function on tv of which I had an agreement with junior officials to participate in. They agreed to my terms and conditions, approved my quotation and called for a meeting which was due next day. That very evening I got a message saying the meeting had been postponed and bla, bla, bla.... Rest is history.
Fact is no government loves the truth and no government likes artistes who sing for the people and those who sing for the opposition. But ultimately, no regime rules forever and just like Mphezeni IV, musicians outlive regimes.
